NEW YORK – Luxury furnishings brand Holly Hunt is celebrating its 40-year anniversary with a new furniture and lighting collection. The 18-piece line, called HH40, includes a sofa, lounge and dining chairs, tables, bedroom furniture, a chandelier, a pendant and sconces.
The line is designed by the company’s executive creative director, Jo Annah Kornak, in collaboration with company founder Holly Hunt.
“This was an extraordinary collaboration for Holly Hunt Studio,” said Kornak. “We worked closely with Holly to transform ideas and concepts into pieces that function as a perfectly articulated detail in the story of how our clients live. There is a level of freedom present in this collection, encouraging one to experiment with contrasting design styles to create an unforgettable and authentic arrangement. From the organically shaped Petro Table to the more refined and architectural Tubac Lounge Chair, each piece is both impactful on its own and harmonious when paired together.”
HH40 will debut at Holly Hunt’s website and New York showroom in June, with later rollouts planned for the company’s other showrooms in the U.S. and London later in the year. New pieces will be added in 2024. Items are crafted in the U.S.
Some of the line’s highlights include:
The Tubac lounge chair is a modern take on mid-century modern, says Holly Hunt, with a sculptural aluminum frame and strategic use of “negative” space.
The Ripple side table and its diminutive sister, the High Tide drink table, are inspired by discoveries found on a beach walk. Each has a base made of Slovenian marble dating back to 1721 and is hand finished. Both feature an anodized aluminum top.
The Petro Drink Table has a weighty bronze base cast made from a mold handcarved to resemble rock striations. It is available in nine stones including Cosmopolitan Quartzite.
The Eon bedroom set includes three customizable pieces. The bed features a pair of oak or walnut wood rings integrated with dimmable lighting, a metal finish and upholstered back panel. A cabinet and nightstand are available in walnut, oak or a lacquer finish, topped with solid brass hardware.
“It was important to deliver a collection that is true to the Holly Hunt DNA of classic and timeless, yet sets a fresh direction for our next 40 years,” said President Marc Szafran.
