imm Cologne plans strong comeback in January

COLOGNE, Germany — German furniture show imm Cologne is planning a strong return to the market in January with all home and living categories under one roof and a new layout that fosters collaboration.

The show will host more than 1,000 retailers, interior designers, architects, planners, carpenters, interior decorators and dealers Jan. 14-18 at the at the Cologne Messe Fairground here.

Products for the living room, bedroom and bathroom will be on display in 10 halls of the Koelnmesse Fairgrounds, along with mattresses, home textiles, wall coverings, lighting, accessories and kitchen goods.

New this time will be a circular layout fostering closer collaboration and dialog between exhibitors, designers, industry experts and buyers on the show floor.

The collaborative circles in hall 1 will showcase installations and innovative ideas presented by speakers from the interior design community. Topics will include sustainability, durability as well as simplicity.

The last imm Cologne show was held in 2019.
