Kathy Ireland to announce new rug partnership

LOS ANGELES – Kathy Ireland will launch a new rug line with Mohawk Inds., sister publication Furniture Today reports. The announcement and details on the new line are expected to be released in September.

Ireland, whose brand spans a wide range of home furnishing encompassing case goods, upholstery and much more, has had a licensing agreement for rugs with Nourison since 2013. That contract expires at the end of October 2022.

“Nourison has had a long and beneficial relationship with Kathy Ireland and the kiWW family. We collaborated to develop many successful collections together.  As our businesses evolved these past years, we both felt the timing was right to start a new chapter. We wish Kathy and the kiWW team the very best and will always value our relationship, ” Alex Peykar, principal at Nourison, told Furniture Today.

Representatives for kiWW confirmed the move to Furniture Today, while indicating that full details are not available at the current time. This story will be updated as more details become available.
