NEW YORK – Lighting brand Mitzi has launched its latest Tastemaker collection with Natalie Papier of Home Ec., an interior design company based in Charlotte, N.C.
Papier is an artist, designer and influencer who has a lifelong love of art and color. She has a strong belief that homes should reflect the people who live in them and be full of life, character and warmth.
Much of Papier’s interior design centers around the character of vintage pieces and collaborating with artists, designers and makers to add originality and life to the spaces she designs.
“Each piece of my Home Ec. X Mitzi collection draws inspiration from vintage lighting, sculptural forms, and my artistic background to represent something as individual and unique as the strong and beautiful woman they are named after,” said Papier. “Whether your style is sophisticated yet whimsical or soft and subtle, the Home Ec. x Mitzi Tastemakers collection is sure to add personality to your home.”
The collection includes 28 lighting pieces ranging in price from $150 to $990. Hudson Valley Lighting introduced the Mitzi brand back in 2017.
Papier currently stars in Magnolia Network’s Artfully Designed with muralist Racheal Jackson and abstract artist Frankie Zombie who all take an art-forward approach to creating beautifully curated spaces for their clients by exploring the intersection between art and interior design.
