Pottery Barn has a new president

SAN FRANCISCO —Williams-Sonoma, Inc. announced that Monica Bhargava has been promoted to president of the Pottery Barn brand.

Most recently, Bhargava was chief design officer for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. She has spent 23 years in the company and has taken on an increasingly larger leadership scope over the years.

“I am honored to take on this leadership role and propel the next phase of growth for Pottery Barn,” said Bhargava. “I look forward to collaborating with our teams while we honor the rich heritage of this iconic brand and pave the way towards an exciting future.”

As chief design officer, Bhargava led the Pottery Barn visual merchandising and photography teams while developing product in partnership with the brand’s in-house design teams.
