Hi friends, it’s Courtney here today. I wanted to share a new addition to my small apartment (my new standing desk for working from home!) as well as an exciting life update!
As I’ve shared before, I’m getting married this summer! For the past few months my fiancé Dong and I have been deciding where we will live after our wedding. I currently live in a 500 square foot one bedroom apartment. I shared a previous tour here on the blog here! Dong has been living in his own apartment nearby.
We had been on the hunt for a new place to be our first apartment together, and we recently found one! Dong moved into it a few weeks ago so we will be able to set it up together over the next few months before I move in after the wedding this summer.
It’s so exciting to be making it our first little home together! The new place is just a short walk from my current apartment. I’ll be able to gradually move my things over between now and the wedding. I am sure I’ll share some photos here as we get things settled!
Standing Desk for Working at Home
As we visualized how we’d decorate the new place, one thing we knew would be looking for was a new desk. We have a tiny den in the apartment that is the perfect space to set up Dong’s desktop computer and use as a little office. I work from home (full time for my mom / The Inspired Room for over 7 years now!) and usually work on a laptop, but I have always loved the idea of having a standing desk workspace.

Standing Desk Features
The desk I got is the Comhar All-in-One Standing Desk. I set it up in my current apartment for now in the corner of my living room. It’s been so nice to be able to comfortably stand and work here instead of sitting all day. I wish I’d had this desk here all along! It will be the perfect addition to our new apartment’s den/office space.
This desk comes in white or black–I chose the white with the tempered glass top and LOVE how sleek and pretty it is! The desk height is adjustable (it’s motorized so you simply press a button and it raises or lowers!). You can sit at it or stand, and can even save four height presets to easily adjust the height with a single button.
I was really impressed by the the quality when it arrived. It was also super easy to assemble, Dong helped me put it together and it only took us a few minutes.
I also love that it has a deep drawer to store office supplies. It even has built-in USB ports so I can conveniently charge my phone while working!
