Uttermost increases distribution capacity in Texas

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. — Uttermost has added new capacity in its new Dallas distribution center and expanded its headquarters in Virginia.

The company completed construction of its 161,000 square-foot distribution center in Dallas in 2023, including environmentally friendly features that are new in the DFW metroplex, and is currently installing five levels of racking and state-of-the-art material handling equipment.

The new facility will provide more capacity to handle growth across all brands, Uttermost said, and allow for faster service with lower shipping costs to customers in Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Wyoming.

This distribution center, Uttermost’s third, is modeled after its California operations, and will be fully in-stock for Uttermost, Revelation and Salt & Light lines of product.

It will also house a photography studio for Revelation product. The Revelation design office is located 10 minutes away, in Dallas’ World Trade Center.

Racking is also being installed in Uttermost’s Virginia headquarters, which expanded to 713,000 square feet under one roof in 2023.

“We’ll continue to expand capacity as needed to support our customer’s growth,” said President Mac Cooper. “The new Dallas DC will be a huge benefit to customers in the middle of the country, as shipping times and costs from either California or Virginia are not ideal. We serve as the warehouse for so many of our customers, so we must hold big inventories as close to our customers as possible.”
