HIGH POINT — WithIt (Women in The Home Furnishings Industry Today) will hold its annual professional conference, themed “Transformative Thinking for Dynamic Leadership,” with marketing and leadership expert Portia Mount set to keynote.
The conference is scheduled from June 10-12 at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in Greenville, S.C.
Mount, a marketer, TEDx speaker and co-author of “Kick Some Glass: 10 Ways Women Succeed at Work on Their Own Terms,” will lead discussions and practical exercises aimed at exploring core values, identifying strengths and defining professional aspirations. She will provide insights into overcoming self-doubt and navigating career challenges with confidence through her storytelling and industry knowledge.
The two-day program will kick off with three pre-conference workshops: “Transforming Your Business with EOS—Entrepreneurial Operating System” featuring Brandon Blell, “Getting to the C-Suite—Strategic Decision Making” featuring Shelia Butler, and “Meeting of the Minds,” an Emergenetics workshop led by Shannon Williams.
Mount’s keynote will launch the conference itself on the first day, with additional workshops on mentoring, sustainability and transforming the workplace. The second day continues with “The Communication Code: Unlock Every Relationship One Conversation at a Time,” with Micah Ray from D4 Concepts.
