Boll & Branch CEO touts “transparency redefined”

SUMMIT, N.J. – A new immersive experience on Boll & Branch allows customers to trace the journey of their bedding “from seed to sheet.”

The new Origin Track technology offers direct insight into the company’s supply chain, covering every stage of production – including cotton farms, spinning, ginning, dying, cutting and construction.

To access the information, customers enter the unique lot number found a product’s tag into Origin Track on the DTC retailer’s site.

“Our new Origin Track platform is not just an innovation, it’s retail transparency redefined,” said Scott Tannen, co-founder and CEO of Boll & Branch. “This technology is the heartbeat of Boll & Branch and transforms how we engage with our customers.

Some Boll & Branch products do not carry lot numbers. They include pillow and duvet inserts, furniture and mattresses. Separate individual links for each category take visitors to landing pages that provide information about the manufacturers and their sustainable practices, although they do not identify the companies by name. That group includes a family-run down & feather company in Ohio, a furniture maker in Vietnam and a third-generation family-owned mattress factory in the U.S.

“When we reveal the origins of our products, we’re not just sharing facts, we’re opening a dialogue with our customers about the integrity and fairness of our decisions across the supply chain. From day one, we’ve pledged to offer transparency that’s both informative and actionable, ensuring every product we craft can be traced back to its raw materials,” said Tannen.
