Deepika Padukone draws on roots with new Pottery Barn collab

SAN FRANCISCO — Pottery Barn, a brand under Williams-Sonoma Inc., has launched a collaboration with Deepika Padukone that is inspired by the actor and fashion icon’s Indian heritage.

Padukone, recognized as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People,  makes her home furnishings debut with a collection that includes embroidered pillows, decorative accessories and rugs with traditional patterns and neutral tones. There is also a line exclusively available in India, the Middle East and the Philippines, featuring dinnerware and serveware with floral details and an earthy aesthetic.

“I am so proud of my collection with Pottery Barn designed for decorating and entertaining at home,” said Padukone. “My home has always been a calm refuge and is a space to express myself, create and entertain. We created a collection that encapsulates this through soft textures, a neutral palette and intricate details.”

Pottery Barn President Monica Bhargava shared that the company was  “thrilled to launch the Deepika Padukone for Pottery Barn collection internationally. The new collection artfully blends Pottery Barn’s world-renowned quality with Deepika’s iconic style, bringing unique designs to the home for creating a beautiful and inviting space.”

The Deepika Padukone for Pottery Barn collection launched online on March 22, and is also available in 18 global stores.
