Matouk sets up home in its first boutique store

New York – Luxury linens brand Matouk has opened its first physical retail location.

The boutique – House of Matouk – is located in Uptown Manhattan at 20 East 67th St. between Madison and Fifth Avenues. The 2,300-sq.-ft. boutique space is situated in a pre-war residential building with an exterior garden.

“For many years, our team has dreamed of creating a space where we could create a fully immersive Matouk experience,” said Mindy Matouk, creative director, and George Matouk Jr., CEO, in their announcement of the opening.

They added: “House of Matouk is the embodiment of what home means to us – less children and pets, which you are welcome to bring if you have them.”

The store offers all core Matouk product categories, including beding, bath and table linens; down bedding; apparel such as robes and newly introduced pajamas; and home accessories such as throws and tissue box covers. The brand will also display and sell its entire Matouk Schumacher collaboration as well as introduce House of Matouk exclusives.

A dedicated design and service team in the store is available to share insights into Matouk’s diverse offerings, ranging from core stocked options to in-depth customization capabilities. The in-store experience also provides product personalization, allowing customers to fully customize designs and monograms, explore a vast array of fabric swatches, and choose from archival designs.

House of Matouk is designed to envelop visitors in its linens while offering high-touch experiences throughout, including beverage service from a fully-stocked wet bar and an outdoor patio.
